Meet Our Key Speakers

Speakers

Dr Amy Derksen, ND

Dr Amy is a former competitive athelete and Naturopathic Physician with a full scope of practice in Washington State since 2003. She did her undergraduate studies in biochemistry and she was the first physician to do her medical postgraduate training with Dr Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD after graduation in 2003. She taught ART courses for his academy for 10 years. She specializes in working with both autism and chronically ill patients, including Lyme disease, mold-related illness and allergies/MCAS.

She is one of the first Naturopathic Physicians to become a Fellow with the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs and she has additional training in PANS/PANDAS, ILADS, mold-related illness, genetics/methylation, LDA/LDI allergy treatments, peptide therapies and BHRT. As someone who struggles with an autoimmune disease and who has recovered from significant post-COVID reactions in 2021 extending to the present, she can relate to patients who feel like their bodies are something they have no control over. She became particulary interestedin mold illness from personal experience of exposure to a water-damaged home in college that set off her thyroid issues and then later had water intrusion in her medical practice that led to a rapid evacuation and relocation.

Dr. Sandeep Gupta

Dr. Sandeep Gupta is a specialist general practitioner who is a member of the RACGP. He runs a busy integrative practice on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. In 2017 Dr. Gupta established the Lotus Institute of Holistic Health to provide integrative medicine training for those seeking it. The Institute’s first online course, Mold Illness Made Simple, was initially launched in 2016, and then revised in 2020.
